We strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services. Our refund and replacement policies are as follows:
- Eligibility: All cases are reviewed by the Amiinu team on an individual basis.
- Cargo Insurance Requirement: Refunds or replacements require cargo insurance or product insurance to be in place at the time of service.
- Refund Amount: Refunds, when applicable, are based on the declared price at the time of boarding.
- Amiinu Responsibility: If errors in the import/export process (attributable to Amiinu) prevent delivery to the end customer, we will refund or replace the products in transit.

5. Importer Responsibilities
As the importer, you are responsible for:
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your country regarding the importation of goods.
- Understanding that customs authorities have the final authority to determine the disposition of each shipment.
- Paying any taxes, duties, or additional charges imposed by customs or other authorities prior to release of the cargo.
- Additional Customs Fees: In cases of additional fees charged at the customs area, such as port fees or airport storage fees, these must be paid before delivery for the cargo to receive clearance for removal from the port or airport.
- Payment Delays: In case of delays in payments to the interested agencies (e.g., customs, port, or airport authorities), operational delays or additional costs may occur. These delays and costs are the responsibility of the importer.
Note: If you lack experience in the import process, you may hire Amiinu for end-to-end services to assist with compliance and logistics.
6. Declarations
- Declarations of value are typically made by the customer or importer.
- If the declared value does not match the actual purchase price, importers must be aware of and comply with tax evasion laws in their destination country.
7. Cargo Insurance
We offer optional cargo insurance to protect against theft, loss, or damage during transit:
- Availability: Insurance plans are selectable via our platform based on your needs.
- Sourcing Service: When using our Sourcing (Purchasing Agent) service, cargo insurance is automatically applied.
- Customer-Arranged Cargo: If you manage your own cargo, insurance is optional but highly recommended.
8. Product Insurance
When Amiinu purchases products directly from factories on your behalf:
- Product Insurance is available to cover defects or damage.

9. Cancellations
- Cancellation Window: Cancellation requests are only accepted before the cargo is boarded for transport.
- Fees: Any storage or handling costs incurred prior to cancellation will be charged to the customer.
10. Prohibited Cargo
Amiinu does not accept or transport illicit or illegal cargo, including but not limited to:
- Drugs or controlled substances
- Products that violate local, national, or international laws
Consequences:
- If prohibited items are received at our warehouse, your account will be terminated, and local authorities will be notified.
- A fine of $100 per prohibited product will be imposed.
- We reserve the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement in such cases.
11. Limitation of Liability
Amiinu is not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by:
- Customs decisions or delays
- Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
- Events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions)
- Negotiations or disputes between the customer and the manufacturer (unless Amiinu is contracted as a Purchasing Agent).
- Delays or additional costs resulting from unpaid customs fees, port fees, or airport storage fees
Our liability is limited to the declared value of the cargo and subject to the terms of any applicable insurance.
